To celebrate our 160th anniversary and one year anniversary as the newest addition to the Cornwall Hotel Collection, throughout May 2025, we hid 31 golden tickets around our seaside hotel. Meet our lucky prize winners below.
Our Golden Ticket giveaway
May 2025 marked both our 160th anniversary since first opening our doors, and our one-year anniversary as the newest addition to the Cornwall Hotel Collection. To celebrate, throughout the month, we hid 31 golden tickets around The Falmouth, to offer all guests the opportunity to win exclusive prizes!
Whether dining in our sun-kissed restaurant, enjoying a few tipples in our bar, staying in one of our seaview rooms, or using our leisure facilities, there were endless opportunities to find golden tickets.
Prizes ranged from our decadent afternoon teas and luxurious spa treatments to gold gym and swim memberships. Plus, two ‘star prizes’ on our special anniversary days – a three-course meal and bottle of house wine for two, and a one-night stay in our Castle Suite!

Star prize winners
On Friday 9th May, whilst enjoying a coffee in our Castle View Bar and Lounge, Mr and Mrs Sandercock found our 160th anniversary golden ticket and won a star prize!
It was a wonderful full-circle moment as Mr and Mrs Sandercock held their wedding reception at The Falmouth in 1995 and will soon be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. We look forward to welcoming them back for their three-course dinner and bottle of wine.
