Booking & Rooms

Check-in is from 3:00 pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t ready, you’re welcome to leave your bags with us and enjoy the facilities.

Check-out is by 11:00 am. Late check-out (until 1 pm) is available for an additional charge of £25. 

The card used to guarantee your booking is charged at midday, seven days before arrival. Please note, if payment can’t be taken, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. 

You can cancel free of charge up to midday, seven days before arrival. After that, bookings become non‑refundable. 

Please note, bookings via third parties and special offers (like Christmas breaks or advance purchase rates) may have different cancellation terms.

Yes, subject to availability. Prices vary throughout the year, so please contact our reservations team prior to arrival. 

Yes, for an additional charge per person, per night. Adults are £30 each, and children over five are £20 each. 

Children under five: no charge

Children aged five to 12: £20 per night

Children aged 12 to 18: £30 per night

Yes, we have a selection of dog friendly rooms and welcome well-behaved dogs to stay for £20 per dog, per night. This includes a food and water bowl and some tasty treats from Sir Woofchester. Please inform us prior to booking your stay by calling us on 01326 312671. 

Absolutely, you can request one of our recently refurbished rooms by calling us on 01326 312671. 

No, please note that air conditioning is not available in our rooms. If you would like additional cooling during your stay, you can request a fan from reception. Fans are subject to availability and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Hotel

Yes, we have an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, gym, and spa treatment room. Our spa and leisure facilities are open daily, for both hotel guests and day visitors.  

Yes, there is disabled parking outside the front of the hotel and moveable ramps for wheelchair access. All of our rooms are located on the first, second, third and fourth floor, with lift access close to our reception area. Our Castle View lounge, bar and restaurant is located on the ground floor. Our spa and leisure club facilities can be found on the lower ground floor, accessed by the lift.

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in rooms and throughout the hotel.

Yes, parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests. On arrival, please register your vehicle on the tablet at reception. Street parking is also available nearby (may be subject to charges). 

Yes, we have 22kw AC electric charging points in our car park. To use, please download the Monta Charge app here. For more information, please speak to reception. 

The Falmouth is within walking distance of Falmouth Docks and Falmouth Town railway stations – a scenic and convenient way to arrive into Cornwall. Trains connect to cities including Truro, Exeter, Bristol, and London Paddington.

Castle Beach is just footsteps away from The Falmouth – less than a 1-minute walk. Or if you fancy taking a stroll along the scenic coast path, Gyllngvase Beach is a 15-minute walk and Swanpool Beach is a 30-minute walk.

The Falmouth is back under local ownership after 20 years, as part of the Cornwall Hotel Collection, and we’re embarking on a renovation project to restore this iconic hotel to its former glory. Eat & Drink 

Yes, breakfast is included. We serve cooked breakfast and continental buffet every day from 7am to 10am. 

Yes, non-residents can join us for breakfast for £20 per adult and £12 per child (3-12 years). Under 3s are free.  

We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during weekends, school holidays, and peak seasons. Please click here to book a table online.

Afternoon Tea: 2pm-5pm
Dinner5.30pm-8.30pm  

We also serve a selection of sandwiches and focaccia melts from 12pm-6pm, Monday to Saturday. 

The Castle View bar is open every day from 9am until late, perfect for a coffee catch up or late night tipple.

Dogs are welcome in our 1865 Lounge, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are not allowed in the Castle View restaurant, bar and lounge. 

We do not offer a specific gluten free menu. We use a variety of ingredients free from gluten for specific dishes, but we cannot guarantee these products remain gluten free due to the risk of cross contamination in the kitchens. For more information, please see our full allergy statement here. 

Swim & Gym

Absolutely! All hotel guests enjoy complimentary, unlimited access to our leisure facilities, including the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, and gym.

Swimming pool: Daily from 6:30am – 9pm (last entry 8pm)
GymDaily from 7am – 9pm (last entry 8pm) 

Yes, children are welcome in our swimming pool from 9am-6pm. Please note, our pool does not have a lifeguard on duty, and adult supervision is mandatory at all times.

The Spa

The spa is open Wednesday to Saturday, from 10am-5.30pm and Sunday from 10am-4.30pm. 

We offer a wide range of spa treatments, including hot stone, deep tissue and full-body massages, rejuvenating facials, manicures, pedicures, and waxing. 

Yes! If you’re staying with us at The Falmouth, you receive a 20% discount on spa treatments during your stay.

Absolutelythe spa is a lovely setting for a seaside celebration with friends or a relaxing experience with someone special. To book, just get in touch with our spa team by emailing [email protected]. 

Yes. Our spa treatment room is located on the lower ground floor and is accessible via a lift. We also have two massage beds that can be adjusted in height and position to help accommodate different accessibility needs.

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your treatment. After that, full payment will be taken and bookings become non‑refundable. You may reschedule once outside of the 48-hour policy. Any additional changes beyond this will require full payment.
